Bryophytes are nonvascular plants and they do not have seeds or flowers. Bryophytes reproduce by spores. This group can also be referred as Mosses and Allies. There are about 24,000 species of bryophytes placed into three divisions: Bryophyta (Mosses),Marchantiophyta (Liverworts), and Anthocerotophyta (Hornworts).
